Marzena Rafalo, ND, MS, CNS
My journey into health and wellness began long before earning degrees and certifications. For many years, I searched for work that felt like a true calling, something meaningful that would allow me to combine my love of learning with my desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
That search led me through years of education in naturopathic medicine, nutrition, functional wellness, and other holistic approaches. While each program provided valuable knowledge and tools, it was a personal experience that ultimately shaped my purpose.
In 2019, my father was diagnosed with cancer. As I researched nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and integrative approaches to support his healing journey, I developed a much deeper understanding of the body’s remarkable ability to restore balance when given the right support. Witnessing his progress strengthened my belief that health is influenced by far more than symptoms alone; it is shaped by nutrition, environment, daily habits, relationships, and the choices we make every day.
My experience also reinforced the importance of partnership in health. Clinical care provides valuable evaluation, treatment, and guidance, while the day to day choices made at home often influence how those recommendations are carried out. I enjoy working alongside individuals, families, and their healthcare providers to help create practical nutrition, lifestyle, and wellness strategies that foster lasting healthy habits and a strong foundation for lifelong vitality.
Today, I work with individuals and families as a Health & Wellness Partner, integrating my background in naturopathic medicine, nutrition, and functional wellness into practical, personalized guidance. My role includes helping clients navigate nutrition, lifestyle habits, laboratory findings, and environmental influences that may impact overall health. I value the time spent with clients, listening, asking meaningful questions, and translating complex information into realistic, sustainable steps that support everyday life.
This perspective shapes everything I do. I believe this because health is never just about information, it is about being seen, heard, and supported as a whole person. When people feel understood, they reconnect with their natural ability to heal, make better choices, and create lasting change.
